Ethical Manufacturing

Our journey began in Bali, where we partnered with a mother-daughter-run manufacturer that shares our values of craftsmanship, fair wages, and responsible production. We continue to work with them to bring you beautiful pieces made with care.

As our brand evolves, we have introduced new ranges of Made-to-Order and Handmade in Australia. These collections allow us to reduce excess inventory, minimize waste, and ensure that each piece is crafted with purpose.

By embracing both small-batch production and local craftsmanship, we stay true to our values—ethically crafted, consciously produced, and designed with intention.

Slow fashion in small batches

At Fiamma Studio, we embrace the slow fashion philosophy and take a mindful approach to clothing production. Instead of rushing to over-manufacture, we take the time and care necessary to craft our beautiful pieces. We produce our collections in small batches ordering in small quantities, which allows us to reduce the amount of waste and avoid contributing to the overproduction of clothing that often ends up in landfills.

By choosing Fiamma Studio, you can support a slow fashion business and help us reduce our environmental impact.

Quality

We prioritize quality in everything we do. As a slow fashion business, we focus on producing small batches of carefully curated collections.
To ensure the quality of our products, we have multiple quality check steps throughout our production process. Firstly, our fabrics are carefully inspected for quality before being sewn into garments, to prevent fabric faults and ensures that only the best materials are used in our products. After the sewing process is completed, our artisans perform a thorough quality check of each piece to ensure they were crafted according to our standards. Lastly, the items are checked one final time, before being shipped to our customers. At Fiamma Studio, we are dedicated to producing sustainable and high quality fashion that our customers can trust.

Pattern Making

We understand the importance of pattern making and sample development in the fashion manufacturing and design process. These stages require a great deal of dedication and attention to detail in order to achieve the perfect fit for our garments. From the start, we carefully curate our pieces and make sure that the prototypes are perfect before approving them for production. This can be a lengthy process, but it is necessary for the creation of a high quality collection.
We believe in taking the time to get things right, which is why we invest so much effort into the pattern making and sample development stages. By doing so, we can produce garments that are not only stylish and sustainable, but also fit perfectly and meet our high standards for quality.

Mindful Design

At Fiamma Studio, we believe that mindful design is an essential aspect of sustainability in fashion. Our goal is to create versatile pieces that can be worn year after year, focusing on comfort and adaptability to different body shapes. We design timeless pieces that can be dressed up or down, so our customers can wear them for both formal events and casual days. We often incorporate multi-ways of wearing our dresses, with adjustable drawstrings, multi-ways necklines, and sleeves that can be worn on and off the shoulders.
Sustainability in fashion for us also means promoting a change in the consumerist shopping habits of our generation and encourage a shift in mindset towards smarter shopping. We strive to design pieces that can take a special place in our customers' responsible wardrobes and be enjoyed for years to come.

Hand-dyed fabrics

For our Bali-made collections, we strive to work exclusively with natural and sustainable fabrics. As these fabrics are often available only in their natural raw colour, we locally hand-dye our fabrics to ensure that our pieces are unique and one-of-a-kind.
This time-honored technique allows us to create our signature shades and favourite colours, giving our pieces a truly distinctive touch.

Eco-Friendly Packaging

We strive to be environmentally friendly in all aspects of our business, including our packaging. We carefully select packaging materials that are biodegradable and easy to dispose. Our packaging is completely plastic-free as we are committed to eliminating the use of plastic in our products and processes. Our mailers are 100% compostable and each dress is shipped in a cotton tote, handmade in Australia, that can be reused for various purposes, making them a sustainable option for transporting your clothing.
